Niamh Noeleen is a filmmaker, writer-director creating visually striking stories that blend dark comedy with bold, genre-bending storytelling. Raised in a working-class environment, her work is shaped by an outsider’s perspective and a fascination with the contradictions of human nature—beauty and brutality, humour and discomfort—often explored through a distinctly female lens.

Her debut short, The Lonely Cannibal (TLC), is complete and heading for online release. Her next, Amuse Me, an arthouse psychological drama, is in pre-production, set to shoot in spring 2027.

Alongside directing, Niamh writes poetry and essays while developing new screen projects, building a body of work defined by originality and a distinctive voice.
