Niamh Noeleen is a filmmaker, director and writer creating visually striking stories that blend dark comedy with bold, genre-bending storytelling. Raised in a working-class environment, her work is shaped by an outsider’s perspective and a fascination with the contradictions of human nature—beauty and brutality, humour and discomfort—often explored through a distinctly female lens.

She recently wrote and directed her debut independent short film The Lonely Cannibal (TLC), currently on the festival circuit ahead of its planned online release. Alongside directing, Niamh writes poetry and essays while developing new screen projects, building a body of work defined by originality and a distinctive voice.
