It all begins with film.

‘The shooting range’ was the first 16mm experimental film Niamh collaborated on. As a concept it was inspired by old Hollywood screen-tests. And as a devised artistic piece it stands as an experimentation with conflicting uses of film stock, light and sound. It highlights the use of these elements to manipulate the perception of a subject.

Mindless images in art.

‘Thefuckersouttogetyou’ was an impromptu piece created and shot in one day at the start of covid-19. A day spent highlighting worldly fears and phobias. Filmed using a thrifted and untested super-8 camera as well as expired film stock, this film was shot without knowing if any of the images would be fully developed. And the final edit was accompanied by original music from Jay Gee Harper.
